Job Description

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our London-based sales team to work on BusinessGreen.  BusinessGreen is the first and leading publication in the UK dedicated to providing senior executives with the green business information, analysis and insight they require to make the most of the burgeoning low-carbon economy and is the undisputed number one brand in the UK Sustainability market.

 

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling multiplatform solutions and driving the BusinessGreen brand forward. The role will predominantly be selling advertising solutions and marketing services to the companies across the Green economy and relevant ad agencies, both via phone and face to face.  The products include conferences, digital advertising, whitepaper content creation, lead generation, webcasts, bespoke events and awards, as well as the full range of customised marketing services. 

 

A varied and engaging sales role, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, creative and hard-working person to work on a leading brand, who is keen to accelerate their media career.

 

This role is at the forefront of Incisive’s growth in this existing and growing sector in the UK economy and will be an extremely challenging but rewarding role with an opportunity for the right candidate to really make a name for themselves.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in media sales and working in a B2B environment
  • Having a background in selling event sponsorship and digital advertising solutions is not essential but would be highly regarded
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective time management; strong commercial acumen; and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
